Different types of Testosterone Supplements

There are wide variances of testosterone supplements that aim to increase testosterone levels in a number of different ways, the efficiency of these testosterone supplements has been proven and there seems to be little to no differentiation between types. Whether you are using a testosterone supplement that provides vital fat acids or uses the mechanics of Tribulus, you are sure to gain the most for your money – but you are probably still wondering what the difference is. In this article we will highlight the differences between different methods of supplementation (pills/creams/injection) and different types of testosterone supplements (Tribulus, ZMA, etc.) in order to give you an efficient knowledge in the field that exceeds that of the average T supplement user.

Testosterone applied to skin

Gels are a relatively new method of supplementation in the field of testosterone[1], this has led to the fame of the product for being excessively priced[1], in comparison to its injection and pill based counterparts. Gels offer the simplicity in supplementation, all you have to do is apply the gel to an area of the body and you are able to continue with your day. The gel is transparent and relatively scentless, this makes noticing it quite difficult. It is also worthwhile to note that the gel dries quickly[1] and will have completed its task within 24 hours[1], this makes applying the gel a compulsory task for every day – something that some people may find a hassle. It would be important to note that applying the gel to an exposed body part could lead to spreading of the gel by touching; this makes it useful to apply the gel on an area of the body that may not be exposed to other people[1] – the abdominals, for instance.

The gel based application of testosterone has the same adverse effects as the other types of testosterone supplementation, this makes the risks equal and easy to avoid with correct guidance. Consulting professionals for advice and recommendation is a useful way to determine whether the gel is harmful to your health in any way. Other ways of applying to the skin include skin patches and creams, which work similarly to the gel based supplement.

Testosterone Tablets

The tablet is one of the most commonly used form of testosterone application[2], with an easy to administer method, of simply consuming the tablet or pill – gaining additional testosterone was never easier. This form is noted to have a profound effect on the liver[2], leading the cause for concern in liver cancer with testosterone supplements, although this can easily be avoided by using testosterone undecanoate, a pill that slows down the process of decay in the liver and avoids harming the liver[2]. Pills can be relatively cheap, although some companies may sell them for unnecessarily high prices – it is important to avoid this as quality does not always come with the expense of your money. The pills can be a hassle when administering them, as you may have to consume them several times a day and pose equal threats to other types of supplementation.

Testosterone Injection

This is arguably the most popular form of administration[3], all a user has to do is to inject a testosterone-rich solution directly into muscle tissue – providing the muscles and blood with a direct and instantaneous supply of testosterone[3], and giving users more reason to continue using this method as it is also very cost-effective in comparison to the other methods. The only hindrance to this method is the pain involved with application[3], although this is a small irritability when it you appreciate the vast range of advantages involved with the use of this product. Some popular injectable solutions include; Testosterone Cypionate, Testosterone Enanthate and Testosterone Propionate.[4] Each of these solutions vary in time taken to begin working with the body, but are equally as effective in providing testosterone to the bloodstream.

Effective Products

There is quite a large market of testosterone products available today; some of the most effective include Tribulus and ZMA. Tribulus is notable for a marked effectiveness with sexual matters, its use within the elderly population of men is worth noting as the product increases libido and improves impotency.[5] Tribulus works by increasing the presence of the LH hormone, which in turn is able to increase the efficiency of the testes in the production of testosterone. ZMA utilises attributes from the vitamins Zinc and Magnesium to produce a powerful formula to develop muscle and improve sexual difficulty. With the popularity of these products proving each of the products efficiency as testosterone supplements, it may be hard for you to miss them while searching for a supplement.

Now that you have a moderately intermediate understanding of the different modes of application for testosterone supplements, you will be able to make the correct decision in selecting a desired supplement. It is useful to note that some modes of supplementation may take longer than others to activate and begin to affect the system, for example; injections may work immediately as they are injected directly into muscle tissue, whilst skin patches may take a few hours to begin work, and will prove more of a hassle to deal with. You are now able to select products that you can base around your lifestyle. It is notable to consult a doctor before beginning a period of testosterone supplementation to measure testosterone levels in order to prevent danger of contracting any unwanted illnesses that can be irreversible and fatal. If you are below the age of 30 it is likely that you do not require testosterone supplementation; as your testosterone levels are of a healthy standard.

Why every Bodybuilder should consider using Testosterone Supplements

Testosterone is the primary reason for all of the muscle growth[1] that you have had throughout your life, the peak of your growth was during your late teens, where every muscle in your body was in the process of adding ‘finishing touches’ and creating absolute perfection, you may even still be in your late teens and in that development pattern. The point is that muscle growth is positively correlated with testosterone levels; the more testosterone you have running through your bloodstream – the more muscle mass you may have, or are able to build. This thought of mind has led to the production of supplements that allow users to replace and produce excess testosterone that will, obviously, lead to heights of muscle building that have never been reached before – how do you think Ronnie Coleman became so big? He didn’t take the long road, and you don’t have to take it either!

By taking testosterone, you will be provide your body with more available protein – this is exactly what your body requires to use in the expansion of muscles, the advancement that will make you as big as you have ever dreamt, in a shorter time than you have ever expected. If you are looking to gain as much muscle and strength as humanly possible, you can safely assume that testosterone is the perfect supplement for you.

First off, let us take a look at the differing types of testosterone supplements and methods of administration. Testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate, testosterone propionate and aqueous testosterone are the most commonly manufactured testosterones and will most likely make up your first testosterone supplement.[2] Differing types of testosterone will vary in time to affect the body, for example; enanthate will take up to 10 days to begin action in the body – finding out more about processing times is vital for maintaining convenience with the supplements, this could be helpful if you are not the kind of person who likes to administer the supplement frequently – something that you must do with the aqueous type. The supplements can be applied in three different ways, through injection, through a skin patch, or gel, and through oral consumption[2] – there is no difference in efficiency between the different modes of administration.

Now that you have most likely heard all that there is to hear and have made the decision to use testosterone supplements within your dietary regime, you may want just a little proof of capability in the products, and that is fine – it is important that you know what your consuming is reliable, this is why we urge you to research information about any product that you may potentially purchase in order to avoid dangerous circumstances, consulting your doctor can be an option. ZMA and Tribulus are both leading testosterone supplements and both have definitively proved their presence in the supplement world to be of value; Tribulus has shown a marked increase in free testosterone and is renowned for its ability to enhance sexual ability[4], ZMA was tested over a period of 8 weeks and illustrated remarkable results, increasing testosterone in clients by 30%.[4] It is unquestionable that testosterone boosters are the #1 supplement in the market today, it is now up to you to change your life by using them – just remember to make every decision carefully, consulting doctors for clarification and approval is advised.

Testosterone Supplements – The side-effects

You may be a man who wants to start using testosterone supplements within his dietary plan for working out, a man that wants to become more in touch with his masculine side or simply a man that desires a heightened sex life. Whichever of these needs that you may require, one decision is impossible to avoid in your quest to success – whether to take testosterone supplements, or not. With testosterone supplements sky-rocketing in popularity, you may be wondering whether the supplement is really as perfect as producers make it out to be. In this article we will be assessing the many adverse effects involved with the intake of testosterone supplements and whether they make the cost of the supplement, both economically and for in terms of productivity, worth use, hopefully; this will aid you in deciding to use testosterone boosters, or not.

It is a well-known fact that testosterone is the male sex hormone, a hormone that offers you the ability to become more and more like the idealistic man – an increase in muscularity being just one of the changes involved. Potential testosterones supplement consumers often overlook the plethora of adverse effects involved with the product, despite the fact that some of the adverse effects should be very apparent prior to use. Think about it, what happens to a male that doesn’t happen to a female? There is a meander of answers, one being: baldness. That’s right, testosterone supplements have proved to intensify the rate of the process involved with going bald.[1] It is suggested that baldness is correlated with the volume of testosterone present, the more testosterone present causing a higher frequency of hair loss. Hair loss occurs when users of testosterone supplements fail to coordinate a regulated testosterone intake, this leads to excessive amounts of the hormone present in the body – something you must avoid at all costs. You may gain significant levels of muscle mass but you will be hairless, the decision is yours to make.

Now, if the idea of being bald doesn’t put you off, consider being bald and spotty; unnecessary levels of testosterone in the body leads to oily skin through the excessive arousal of the skins glands[1], this will eventually be the cause of acne that can range in severity. You have already imagined being muscular and bald, now picture yourself looking like a teenager going through the most pivotal stages of puberty. Your skin complications will not end there; you may also suffer from mild to severe rashes [2], which cause unnecessary irritation and can reduce enjoyment of life. Swelling is a very real possibility with the problem occurring in any part of the body, ranging from the face, to the legs and even the affecting the testicles.[2]

Swelling may not be the only adversity affecting your penis; extended or delayed erections [2] may become apparent and the involvement of pain during erections is a very real possibility to consider. The field of urination is unpredictable in consumers of artificial testosterone; the prostate is open to increase or decrease in size, something that cannot be measured or anticipated for any individual user, this can lead to either, an extensive difficulty in expelling urine, or an overly incessant need to urinate – you are also made liable to contract prostate cancer, the leading cause of death in elder males.[1] Another great consideration is the risk of infertility; taking testosterone supplements will cause your body to slowly decrease or completely halt the production of testosterone in your body, this can be periodic or lasting and can prevent you from creating sperm – remember, this side-effect will occur in all men with no exceptions.[3] Ask yourself this question, would you be willing to use testosterone whilst knowing that your manhood is in worse of a condition than the average male?

Remaining on the topic of masculinity, a disproportionate intake of testosterone supplements is well known to cause the development of breasts.[3] Try not to confuse the word breasts with the idea of extremely large pectorals; feminine-like breasts are the actual resultant products and are a result of the body attempting to maintain the testosterone-oestrogen ratio, too much testosterone will cause the body to convert the hormone into oestrogen[3] and cause the creation of so called ‘man-boobs’, despite the fact that you may be physically active. The idea of becoming victim to this adverse effect may seem extremely daunting to most, if not all, men.

Along with the significant risk of prostate cancer, liver cancer is also an impending risk involved with the intake of testosterone supplements, specifically the supplements that require oral consumption.[1] Contracting liver cancer is a predicament that you want to avoid indefinitely, this may undoubtedly sway your decision, as it can also prove fatal.

You may be thinking that using testosterone boosters have no chance of affecting your psychological health, but you’re mistaken; depression and mood swings are frequent in users of additional testosterone, [4] the presence of depression may also lead to insomnia and you may find an increase in hostile behaviour.[5] With the alteration of the minds function, you may begin to consider making decisions that you would not normally make – this is why you should contemplate the changes being made initially, rather than later.

By taking note of, and reviewing, the above, you may have already come to a decision or view point on testosterone supplements, if not, you are most likely willing to utilise the hormonal supplement under strict, regulated conditions – either way, you should always consider the most imminent dangers and risks involved with the use of hormonal supplements. With some of the primary contingencies being: liver cancer, prostate cancer, extreme alteration of psychological behaviour and penile difficulties – it is vital that you contemplate the danger involved with the supplements, acknowledging that some of the adverse consequences may be irreversible, with the solution to some of the other side-effects being as simple as increasing or lowering dosage.

The Basic Facts about Testosterone Supplements

Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone present in the bodies of all mammals; it is widely associated with muscle production, as bodybuilders use it to enhance their athletic performance. The hormone is commonly referred to as ‘the male sex hormone’[1] due to its prevalence in men; as it is found, and produced, in quantities of up to ten times more in men than in women. During the past few years the worldwide use of testosterone supplements has inflated greatly, the hormone is sometimes described as the single most effective muscle building hormone on the planet.[1] However glamorous the supplement may seem, there are always side-effects to using the product, some of these effects being permanent and extremely challenging to deal with, others being simple to prevent and to reverse.

It is crucial for you to have the complete and correct knowledge about testosterone supplements so you are able to make decisions that will literally change your life for the better, and not for the worse. Body regulation properties

Bodybuilders worldwide have undoubtedly made use of testosterone supplements to achieve staggering results, equally, normal men have utilised the unique capabilities of the supplements to completely revert their life and sculpt their body. Testosterone supplements boast an individual ability to broaden the protein availability ratio within muscles[1] to dramatically enhance muscular size and physical ability – this is why modern day bodybuilders acquire heights that have previously been considered humanly impossible, testosterone supplements allow users to extend the amount of protein produced, easily surpassing the average human production and allowing supplement users to reach protein ratios that are, in fact, near impossible to reach without additional testosterone.

Testosterone supplements not only allow an increase in muscle mass, but also allow the loss of surplus body weight, otherwise known as fat, this makes the supplement useful to just about everybody; every human wants to lose weight and become more physically fit – although, this feature again highlights on how useful the hormone can be for bodybuilders; as they are people who are looking to gain muscle and lose weight, this supplement is perfect for that specific cause.

Efficiency in resolving mental issues

Men who find that fatigue, despondency and lack of sexual desire are common to them may be suffering from a lack of testosterone or decline in testosterone[1], testosterone boosters are the perfect product for a resolve to these difficulties. Testosterone has exhibited attributes that make it entirely efficient in aiding psychological development[2], this could be in the logical areas of the mind, as well as the emotional area of the mind – this is why testosterone users have reported an increase in sexual desire after using the product and why companies have begun producing testosterone based products that aim to tackle the stiff issue of libido deficiency. Significant threats are associated with over-use of the supplement as it has led to an increase in aggression and mood-swings that can vary from extremities in an instant – clients may pose a threat to people around them if intake is not regulated.[2]

Aid sexual life

Testosterone supplements, as previously mentioned, are able to provide users with an increase in libido among several other benefits for sex life. The supplements can also provide users with a cure to impotency, a problem caused by a lack of testosterone present in the body. Because male impotency is caused by low levels of testosterone, older males are usually the general buyers of testosterone products for the purpose of enhancing their sexual experience. Testosterone supplements are not advised for use in younger males as they may already have enough testosterone, by using an excess amount they may be causing damage to their body – of course, exceptions are made to younger males who have testosterone deficiency.

Dangers of causing diseases

Unfortunately, testosterone supplements are not as free of flaws as we want them to be; in fact, just by using them there is a danger of becoming a cancer patient – prostate and liver cancer are both extremely real possibilities; testosterone actually increases the rate of growth of the prostate cancer cell[3] and is able to scar the liver, as well as cause liver cancer.

Different types of application

Testosterone supplements can be administered in numerous methods, including oral administration through pellets or tablets[4], through injections[4] and also skin-patches that work in a similar fashion to nicotine patches. Tests have not proved the effectiveness of a particular method to surpass another. Some famous products boast the use of naturally occurring plants and vitamins, some being ZMA and Tribulus.

A common misconception that hormonal supplement users are guilty of is the overlooking of dosage; this occurs when a user consumes an excess amount of testosterone, this may lead to any of the above mentioned problems, as well as hair loss, increased aggressiveness and deduction in testicular size. Testosterone supplements may affect the penis or testicles when the prostate is in question; despite the supplements remarkable ability to aid erectile dysfunction, it can also cause discomfort during erections and an inability to remain erect.

If you are a future user of the hormonal boosters, you should take dosage into deep consideration – doing so by arranging appointments with doctors in order to assess your current testosterone levels and testosterone levels required to attain the average standard; this will help you avoid taking unnecessary dosage of testosterone and causing any of the above described effects. Legitimacy of Testosterone Supplements

As testosterone supplements rise to fame in the male population, the validity of the many claims made by companies producing such products is questionable; you may even be a potential customer who is sceptical of the effectiveness of the supplement. You may be wondering whether testosterone boosters actually provide the various advantages that the many products state, or if they simply are a scandalous way for companies to make money. Throughout this piece, we will be reviewing how effective T supplements really are, how science has proved their claimed abilities to be either wrong or right and whether you can gain anything from the supplements through use.

Testosterone is the male sex hormone, produced in the testes[1], it conducts the majority of changes that a male goes through during puberty and overall growth, thus defining a male’s gender. As a man, your body has used the hormone testosterone extensively, from the growth of your first facial hair to the supplementation of your first erection – it’s true, you are virtually non-existent without your supply of testosterone. This is why low levels of testosterone can hinder your ability to lead a normal life dramatically; you may not be able to indulge in a normal sex life, you may find it hard to continually exercise without becoming critically tired and may feel that your overall status as a man regresses.

The natural decline of the hormone, testosterone, in a male occurs through aging[2]; as a man reaches his thirties, he will find these symptoms, and more, will become increasingly apparent. Testosterone supplements are regarded as one of the leading methods of tackling the hindrance of age and reclaiming youth, but does its reputation represent its efficiency?

With a wealth of scientific examinations and assessments on testosterone supplements providing no clear answer, it should be made evident that there is yet to be a definitive conclusion on the hormonal supplement – all tests that have been carried out have neither proved the supplements claims to be valid or invalid. This not only makes the supplement a ground-breaking achievement in the world of medicine, but also an extremely risky product in administration and only proves one thing – effectiveness all depends on the person who is using the supplement. As this is the case, the only way to determine its legitimacy is to consider the supplement as a product that works for you, with contemplation of the adverse effects – this can only happen if you are medically certified to take additional testosterone; you must have testosterone levels below that of the average person.

Should a man take testosterone supplements, despite the fact that he has the testosterone levels of the normal male, the effects of the supplementation could be nullified or even dangerous to the consumer; a small study was conducted involving a group of males who had average testosterone levels, they were administered testosterone supplements, after a six month period they were tested for results – the results stated that they had gained muscle mass but did not gain strength.[1] This proves that testosterone supplements are useless when administered to a person with normal testosterone levels – in fact, they are liable to liver and prostate cancer as an adverse effect. This should leave the products ability to aid users in gaining muscle mass clear, apparent and undeniable, with the consideration of the dangers involved with a disproportionate intake.

If you are a male with low levels of testosterone, the possibilities that you are offered are considerably advantageous; you are not restraint with the thought of becoming a cancer patient and are free to use testosterone, with strict guidance from a doctor/physician. A separate test conducted with a larger group of males over a six month period resulted in staggeringly successful results – all of the men tested were of 65 years old, or older, and were described as having moderately low testosterone levels. After the six month test period of being administered testosterone, the males had exhibited exceptional improvements in their health, with muscle strength, muscular mass and sexual health all having increased in performance.[3]

This study has not only given extremely good reason to males suffering from low-levels of testosterone to investigate the capabilities of testosterone supplements, but has also disproved many of the scientific jabber that has been circulated about the supplements. It is also a good example of clarifying the correct purpose and direction of testosterone supplements – how it has to be administered strictly to males with lower testosterone levels for maximum results and efficiency without the presence of illness.

You may have heard only of how the hormonal supplements have the ability to improve muscular composition or sex life, and not much about the supplements potential in improving bone density[2] and psychological proficiency – both factors that, again, deteriorate with age due to the decline of testosterone presence in the blood stream. In a cycle known as androgen therapy, you may be given testosterone in conjunction with a select number of varying nutrients in order to maintain efficiency in different parts of your body, for example; calcium is also provided to you in order to maintain the strength of your bones as you age.[4] The legitimacy of this practise is scientifically approved and definitely worth consideration, if you are looking to begin the basic use of additional testosterone.

A more daunting proven attribute of testosterone supplements is the hormones ability to induce heart disease with an increasing volume presence[5], this has been proven by scientific tests on large groups of males aged over 65 and may provoke many to change their view about the application of testosterone supplements. Scientists involved in the test state that this gives great reason for the men who use testosterone supplements for small matters, such as sexual difficulty, to terminate their dosages completely and consider the damages that may be impending.[5]

While the legitimacy of testosterone supplements is clarified on the positive field, the supplement is also very scientifically established in the negative field – because of this, many may decide not to begin using the supplement at all. With an increasing number of scientific tests being carried out, we are learning more and more about the supplement and determining the efficiency of the product will soon be a possibility. Currently, the only decision that we are able to make able to make about testosterone supplements is that they work for a set group of people – people who are in the older range of men and who have low testosterone ratios. It is clear that excessive application of the hormone can bring about undesirable, and even life threatening, results – this is why you should consider consulting your doctor prior to use of a product.
